Strengthening policymaking for a sustainable future through data-driven simulations
The project brings together three modelling frameworks: CLEWs, OG-Core, and WEFM, to help policymakers explore trade-offs, test policy options, and translate evidence into practical strategies. Through country-level customization, training, and technical support, the initiative builds long-term, in-country capacity for integrated, data-driven decision-making.
Check out the different models:
The second OG-ETH training workshop in Addis Ababa brought together 47 participants for hands-on policy simulation training using the Overlapping Generations Macroeconomy Model for Ethiopia.
Indonesia applied the OG-IDN overlapping generations macroeconomic model in a policy dialogue examining alternative public expenditure reallocation options under fiscal constraints.
